The Drebes Family...AND, Jacob is 3!!

I love kids!!! I really do. They are so fun to photograph. The difference between kids and adults is that kids really don't care about a camera being in their way. They will just be themselves! It's awesome. Real life moments...that's what you get from kids, and Jacob was no different. We had a great time. He was a good little boy and even got a sucker for his efforts. Great job, buddy. Come back and see us anytime. Oh, and, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Kasey and Tim. 11.12.11

It is rare to find a good friend. I don't mean someone to hang with or to enjoy the occasional meal together; I mean the kind of friend that literally picks you up when you have fallen down. I have 5 of those friends. Kasey is one of them. She is my buddy, my confidant, my sister. She has (on many occasions) been the person that I call when my heart hurts or when life just isn't right. She has been there from the very beginning and I don't even remember what life was like without her. I love her. I truly love her.

And now for Timmy boy, oh sheesh...what do I even say. I used to think he was just a cool guy. I enjoyed being around him. He even kind of reminded me of my second dad, Roger Recap. But now, he is the one my kids call "Uncle Tim". He's that guy...and I love it. They adore him (and for good reason). He is the guy that finishes our family circle, and we are so incredibly grateful that he is a part of this crazy bunch for the rest of eternity. (That's right, buddy, ETERNITY! -- A little scarier when I put it that way, huh?!)

This perfect couple tied the knot on 11.12.11, and I was there to capture their day, both through the camera, and in experience. I was lucky enough to have been chosen a bridesmaid, and I loved every minute of it. It was quite the honor. Love doesn't get much better than this, and I am so incredibly happy for both of them!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Clingingsmith. We are all so proud of both of you. Love you both.

Emily and John. 10.22.11

Emily and John were married on Oct. 22nd, and we were lucky enough to be a part of it all. Emily and I used to do gymnastics together over 15 years ago!! Neither one of us knew that prior to our first meeting, but we soon realized that we were old friends. It was wonderful to be a part of their beautiful day.

The Quincy Country Club does an exquisite job of hosting. The venue was beautiful and the food was marvelous!

Thank you to Emily and John for allowing us to be a part of sharing in your love. We are so honored to call you friends. Hope you enjoy the preview!

Hilary & Bo. 10.1.11

Hilary and Bo honored us with the opportunity to capture their love on Oct. 1st. We were so happy to be a part of such a beautiful day. This wonderful couple is truly special and we wish them all the best. Thank you for letting us be a part of it all! We wish you all the best.

Casey and John.

I love my job. I really do, especially when I get to meet new friends. Casey and John are really awesome. (Thanks for the referral Kellea!) We had a great time on our shoot, and they were so kind to let me try a few new spots. There images speak for themselves...such a beautiful couple. Enjoy the post-view! =)

Landon. Senior. 2012.

Landon came to us with an idea. He wanted to do "something really cool" in his basketball gear. The only thing he didn't know is that I had EXACTLY The same idea before he even came into the studio for his consult. I knew Landon was a basketball star, and I wanted to showcase that in a gatorade-style fashion. Poor Landon, it took quite a few times to get it perfect, but he was a great sport. We all really enjoyed the end result! Go Get 'em, Landon. Good luck, buddy.

Cheyanne. Senior. 2012.

How awesome is she? I know, right! Her images are too cool, just like her. We are very proud of Cheyanne. She has represented our town and our school very well over the past few years. We are excited to watch her grow and change over the next four years of her life. Good luck, Cheyanne. Go get 'em girl!

Hendrians.

These sweet boys are some of my favorite to photograph. They are always so much fun. Their sweet smiles and crazy antics always make me happy! This is REAL LIFE photography here people, there was no, "sit here and smile." They are way to busy for that, and I love it!

A Pole Vaulter...Really?

When Tanner and his mother came to visit me in the studio, he mentioned that he was a pole vaulter. Most people wouldn't find this information especially alarming, but I was so excited that I could barely sit through the whole consultation. (I might have mentioned my excitement a few times, too!) You see, for a photographer who ABSOLUTELY ADORES SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY, it was a BIG deal. Pole Vaulters don't come along everyday, you know. This type of photography challenged and inspired me to the max. Thanks to Tanner (and mom) for allowing me to photograph these very important moments in your life. I had so much fun, and I am honored to have been chosen for the task! =) Hope you enjoy the preview.
