Pullin' out all the stops...
Carter and Autumn had just celebrated birthdays (and parties) the day before our session. They received lots of gifts, and they were definitely interested in playing with them! This proved to be a good thing because little Carter was not interested in getting his picture taken...I even tried the "going outside" trick. He was much more interested in playing with his brand new toys, and I don't blame him one bit. They had gotten some really cool stuff! The bribing toy of choice during this session was moon sand...sorry that we made a mess, mom!

NOT Traditional.
I hear this quite often. Many of my customers say that they are wanting something totally different. Something untraditional. Luckily, I do too! I love the untraditional, the new, the artsy, and sometimes borderline strange...I just do, that's me. That is exactly why I shoot the way that I do, I see things in a way that just have to be photographed. I don't know if this is acceptable or trendy, but I do know that I enjoy every second of it, and I won't stop shooting with this mentality because I can't. Even if I wanted to, I can't. That just needed to be said.
This session used every bit of my ability and creativity. I wanted to take some incredible images for this family because they very generously donated to a great cause for this session. Thank you...Enjoy your preview.
The Larson 7.
(This is what happens when you ask 5 little ones what they want for christmas! =)
This may have overwhelmed the common photographer, but I was prepared. The Larsons brought their 7 for a photo shoot on sunday. The oldest is 15 and the youngest is 2. Piece of cake. When my sister and I hang out, we bring 7 munchkins also, but we have the Larsons beat. Our 7 are all 7 and under!! =) I have done the "7 kid shoot" plenty of times, and was fully aware of the need for bribery...A.K.A. Suckers!!! Loved the way these turned out...this is life at its best right here, people. It doesn't get any better than this. Enjoy the preview, Larson family.
The Mosleys.
This session was much more than a photo session. After the big shoot Mom and "baby wexa" came over to play. It was a great time to just relax and chat with with a good friend. (Even better...the guys were gone at a basketball game! )
Thanks for letting me photograph your little beauty, Kirk and Cassie. We love her like our own, and enjoy watching her grow! =)

Mia - QHS Senior 2011
This girl was an inspiration for me. Her creativity and style really motivated me to "step up to the plate." I love that she is musical. We were able to get some awesome shots commemorating her abilities as a singer. Good luck to Mia (not that she is going to need it). I am going to go on record right now and say that I took her first famous headshots! =)
