A Touch of Sun.

Forgive my philosophical rant, but I just need to write this.

The images from this session depict a beautiful, caring, lighthearted family with nothing but the best in front of them, and all of that is absolutely true.  It's true because Crissy and Andy have a way of making the world around them a better place.  They are the type of people that always look for the best in the world, and in every situation.  Crissy was a college friend of mine, and from the moment I met her, I realized that she was something different.  She is that person that never seems to frown. Truly, she has always had the gift of happiness.  I was honored to know her.  I still am.  When I met Andy for the first time, I thought, "there couldn't be two people in the world more perfect for each other."  They make each other laugh, and joke and it always seems to feel good when they are around.

Crissy and Andy have also been through some trying times in their life and have weathered each storm with dignity and grace.  They have two incredible kids who are destined to have the same full and joyous hearts as their parents.  Even though life may have the potential of dragging them down, there always seems to be a beauty about them, that is incredibly rare and certainly admirable.

It seems to me that whenever they are around there is a touch of sun, that just won't be diminished.

Liz & Michael

This is what happens when you give me a wedding on a summer evening at 7:00p with a beautiful landscape, and super unique decor. My trigger finger won't stop. I just keep shooting. There are so many images and so little time. :) --- Liz and Michael are an incredible couple. Both really laid back people, always concerned about others around them. They were and absolute joy to shoot with and I truly loved every minute. Congrats to Liz and Michael.

Miss Elke - Boudoir

Boudoir, yes it's a word, and yes I can post it on the internet. It's not the rebellious culprit that some people believe that it is.  It's beautiful, and incredible, and everything that a woman needs to see in herself.  Boudoir photography is not for that special someone in your life, they may like it too, but it is more for the woman that wants to capture the beauty that she is.  Boudoir photography is where my psychology background and my photography passion meet. This type of photography is so incredibly empowering for women, and I am proud to be a part of it.

I commend Miss Elke for being aware of the beautiful woman that she is and for making a conscious effort to remind herself of that beauty.

Thank you to Elke (& Sally) for allowing me to hang out, and have a fantabulous time sipping moscato. :)

Felicia & Jack

Felicia and Jack are married! We had an awesome time in Rolla, MO. celebrating the marriage of Jack and Felicia.  There day was beautiful, and we had some AWESOME food from Matt's Steakhouse! Kudos to the chef. :)

Congratulations Felicia and Jack. We are all so happy for both of you.

Courtney - O.S.A. Queen 2011

Courtney is an incredibly sweet girl.  I am so proud to call her a Paysonite!  She is the kind of kid that you hope your children grow up to be. She is very respectful to her teachers, her parents, and her friends.  I know that in this world, we hear a lot about "kids these days", but she is living proof that the world will ultimately keep growing, changing, & progressing because of the caring nature of others.  She's a good kid, and I'm very proud of her.  (Also very proud to have her in my studio! -- She's beautiful to boot! :)

Hendrian Boys

I love these boys!! Really, I do.  They are awesome kids, and I have really enjoyed watching them grow.  We have amazing collection of images over the past 3 years and I commend mom for taking the time to freeze those moments in time.  There is nothing that she will treasure more than the images of her sweet babies from days gone by.  Thank you, Amber for taking the time and the effort to commemorate your most prized possessions.  Can't wait for the new little one in November!! :)
