Family!

I am proud to say that this cute little family is a part of my own. My cousin Mackenzie is momma, and her "smokin hot" husband is Mike. We don't get to see them often enough, but when we do finally get to catch up, we enjoy it!  We love you guys! Come see us more often!! Oh--Aunt Marcia my girls are having withdrawal...they miss you like crazy!

Maggie and Matthew are awesome. Matthew didn't say two words the whole time, but I just know he had fun...right, Matthew? Mags has been in my life since she was a little tike, and I love her like a sister.  Can't wait for the wedding!! It's gonna be a blast! =)

Brothers

I am really getting lucky with the "well-behaved children sessions".  Kudos to all of you parents out there. You are doing a wonderful job.  

That is especially true for these little guys. Olliver and Elliot are one year apart, and on the move. They keep mom busy, but listen very well.  They are also extremely adorable. Great all around session until I unknowingly sat them in an ant nest...eek!! I felt horrible, but mom was a trooper and so were the little guys. They did such a great job throughout the whole thing that we came away with way too many images to choose from.  I am saving some favorites for mom and dad, but here is a sneak preview of the birthday boy (mostly)!  Happy birthday, Olliver!

The "A" Club

These kids are awesome. I truly had a great time playing with them. They are so smart and kind; I really enjoyed our session.  This is the first time I have had the opportunity to photograph them and I am thankful to mom and dad for trusting me with their precious little ones. There are so many images that I love from this session, I wish I could post them all! =) Enjoy the preview. 

Chase

Little man Chase has been coming to get his pictures taken since he was in his momma's belly. Now that is a loyal customer! =)  He is  sweet, and adorable, and I truly enjoy getting to see him each year.  He has a great mommy and daddy, too!  I just love this family! Enjoy the preview...

"Old Blue Chair"

No, I am not colorblind. 

I draw inspiration from many different places.  A lot of times I will look through old magazines, movies, pictures, stories, etc. to keep my mind moving and fresh with ideas.  These particular pictures were inspired by the song, "Old Blue Chair" by Kenny Chesney.  When I listen to that song, I can just picture him sitting on the shore with no shoes, and his guitar, listening to the waves and experiencing the peace that comes with the ocean sounds.  Although this session was neither "beach-like" nor peaceful, I still had the chair, albeit orange. Oh well...I tried. 

I think I am going to go with the walking away pic for my framed 20x30 in my living room...any thoughts?

Mom, Grandma & kids

What a cool session! I just loved the dynamic of this shoot.  Mom and kids wanted some pics taken together for father's day, and invited grandma along too! It was so nice because the kids in these pictures are EXTREMELY well behaved and we just had a great time together. Thanks to the Miller Family!
